WHAT EXACTLY IS A TRANSACTION COORDINATOR (TC)?

A transaction coordinator is someone who manages all of the paperwork and communication between parties of a real estate transaction (agents, buyers/sellers, lawyers) in order to ensure a successful closing. TC’s help agents remain in full compliance with their brokerage regarding documents and procedures. They also track all contract deadlines and keep everyone informed and updated.

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR SERVICES?

Our services start at $199 + HST.  Please contact us to set up a quick phone/video call so we can go over you, your business and your goals. We are happy to provide you with a list of our prices at that time.

DO I STILL HAVE TO PAY IF THE TRANSACTION CANCELS?

No, we charge a cancellation fee. We only get paid for full-service transactions if you do. We are in this together!

HOW DO I PAY FOR YOUR SERVICES AND WHEN ARE THEY DUE?

You will be invoiced once the transaction has been loaded to your Skyslope.

You have two options for payment:

a. You can pay by e-transfer to: closewithkp@gmail.com

b. You can pay using a Visa/Mastercard through the link included on your invoice. (A small processing fee applies to credit card payments)

WHAT ARE YOUR WORKING HOURS?

You can expect a prompt response within an hour. We are always available because we know you are!

WHAT PROVINCES DO YOU SERVE?

We currently only cover the province of Ontario (OREA). However, Close with KP is always expanding.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF HIRING AN INDEPENDENT VTC OVER AN IN-HOUSE TC OR ASSISTANT?

One of the biggest benefits is that it removes the risk and pressure of having to pay a permanent employee, especially during low volume months and seasons (I’m looking at you December - February). With Close with KP, there is zero overhead, you only pay for services if you close, you have a fully trained and experienced professional working on your files.

WHY SHOULD I NOT HANDLE THE TRANSACTION MYSELF?

On average a VTC can save you 24 hours per transaction. That is valuable time in your pocket that could be used to grow your business. Additionally, a VTC will go through everything with a fine-toothed comb to reduce any errors or mistakes.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY TRANSACTION?

During our initial agent onboarding meeting/call, we will work out your specific communication preferences. Whether you prefer to be cc'd on every email or like to be more hands-off and contacted only when needed, we will honor your preference. No matter your preference, we will always send out regular updates keeping you informed of exactly where things stand with your file and of any file checklist requirements by your brokerage.
